Soma Pilates is a full service Pilates studio located in Redmond, WA. We offer private instruction, semi-private instruction and group reformer classes on STOTT PILATES® equipment, as well as group Mat classes. At Soma Pilates we utilize STOTT PILATES® exercises which incorporate modern exercise principles, including contemporary thinking about spinal rehabilitation and performance enhancement. What is Pilates?

Utilizing either a floor mat or specialized equipment Pilates is a safe, sensible exercise system that will help you look and feel your very best. Named after Joseph Pilates, its creator Pilates teaches body awareness, good posture, and helps to create strength without excess bulk, long beautiful muscles, and a flatter abdomen. It can even help to alleviate back pain. Pilates has proven itself invaluable not only as a fitness endeavor itself, but also as an adjunct to professional sports training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds. Practiced faithfully, Pilates yields numerous results including increased lung capacity, circulation, strength, flexibility, coordination, posture, balance, and core strength.
