Because the tradition should go on!
When it comes to the history "La Hacienda" restaurant chain here in The Northwest, its name in this part of Washington has a special meaning to its patrons; it practically grew up with them. La Hacienda, is different from other Mexican restaurants located in larger cities due to the fact that they opened their business gradually in smaller towns. Back then diners were used to making long trips to the center of the searching for popular Mexican cuisine.
With the opening of the first la hacienda in 188, the tendencies started changing and the doors to a new market opened. This market was avid for exquisite cuisine and soon it began strengthening the presence of this family business that still prevails today. Its owners, Maria Candelaria Soltero and Ruben Sahagen, who started this restaurant 34 years ago with their arrival to the the USA, tell the story of "La Hacienda" well. They made their first steps working in restaurants in San Francisco, California and only a few years later would they determine it time to move to Seattle. The years in San Francisco account for the experience of the management in one of the United States most well protected industries, the restaurant business.
