Welcome to Targys Tavern!

Rumored to be one of the first bars to open after Prohibition, Targy's is located on top of historic Queen Anne hill, far away from the hustle and bustle of the Ave. You'll find a place where you can forget the day's worries and relax with a pint or a stiff drink and banter with the best regulars in town; it's also the only place on the hill with pool tables and dart boards.
So grab a friend and come down and catch a game on one of our flat screens, or pick some tunes on the Internet Jukebox and try to convince the bartender that The Beatles are better than The Stones.

- I've driven, jogged or biked by Targy's almost every day for a year. I wasted that year, because it wasn't until last week that I went inside for the first time and found my new favorite place. From outside it seems divey, pretty dead but for the occasional group of smokers milling around the entrance. Inside though, it's the most happening place, still divey, but with two pool tables and darts...and bathrooms cleaner than most dive bars, it was excellent.
