Welcome to Swedish Automotive Inc. located in West Seattle.

Swedish Automotive has served the greater Seattle area since 1983.

Located in West Seattle, we have the knowledge, tools, and friendly, experienced staff, to help you and properly service your Volvo, SAAB, Subaru or Mini Cooper. We are trained and dedicated professionals who care about providing you with quality car repair.

We also have the best equipment and resources available to assist our Technicians and Advisors to do their job at the highest possible level. Our new facility has over 8000 square feet and supports 12 bays and 10 lifts.  We have a dedicated alignment bay and can also take care of all of your tire needs.

At Swedish Automotive we have a staff of friendly professionals to help you.

Warranty:

All services performed by Swedish Automotive, with the exception of intermittent problems, have an 18 month, 18,000 mile warranty. Electrical parts purchased over the counter are not returnable. Warranty work has to be performed in our shop and cannot exceed the original cost of repairs.

Customer Service:

Because we know that being without your vehicle is a hardship and we cannot always accurately predict how quickly we can complete work on your vehicle, Swedish Automotive has a fleet of 14 loaner cars that we provide for customer use. We charge a nominal fee of $15 (per visit, not per day) to administer this service and offset our costs.

We are conveniently located on the #21 Metro bus route, which not only goes downtown but connects to a variety of routes in and around West Seattle and beyond. We are happy to accommodate customers who need a ride back home in West Seattle or a ride to the Vashon ferry dock.

In our customer waiting area, should you need to wait while we are working on your vehicle, we offer comfortable seating and Wi-Fi access.

We are proud to offer to our customers complimentary car wash and vacuum each time their car comes to us for service or repair.

Going Green:

At Swedish Automotive, we are proud to be at the forefront of “green” practices, producing a minimum of land fill waste and recycling or composting everything possible. All fluids, metals, paper, plastic bags and cardboard are recycled. Our new shop is built to 2010 standards and utilizes structurally insulated panels (SIPS) in the roof, insulated garage doors, double pane windows and fully insulated walls. Our service bays have in-floor radiant heat fired by a large boiler which burns 100% of the waste oil we produce. All of our landscaping is taken care of organically and we do everything possible to make sure that our little corner of Mother Earth is happy.

Swedish has recently been certified to the Envirostars Program with a 5 star rating.
